Our EAF Brother Edward Banting, is scheduled to be passed to the Second Degree on Saturday, 22 January 2011 in Lodge Star of Australia 200 [tyling 7:00 PM, visitors at 7:15 PM] at Hursltone Park Masonic Centre, 67 Duntroon St, Hursltone Park. L J R members are reminded to support Bro Ed Banting by joining the fraternal delegation to Lodge Star of Australia.

Our Worshipful Master also desires me to convey to all officers and brethren delivering charges for a Second Degree rehearsal meeting on Sunday, 16 January 2011, 7:00 PM at Castle Hill Masonic Centre. We will also rehearse the Exemplification of the 3rd Degree as practiced in the GLOP. Hence, members of the Exemplification Team are urged to please attend. We will commence rehearsal at 7:00 PM. Kindly refer to page 3 of your January 2011 notice paper. Thanks

3rd Deg Rehearsal: 7 Jan 2011

Brethren,

The new rehearsal date for the third degree raising ceremony will be on Friday, 7 January 2011, at 6:30 PM. Lodge Baulkham Hills is in January recess and Castle Hill Centre will be available for LJR. We will prepare the banquet hall for our Saturday meeting, then rehearse the raising ceremony. All officers and interested members are most welcome to attend.

A reminder,  the Memorial Service and viewing of the late Ka Carding Siasat [father of our Bro Ed Siasat] will be on Monday, 3 January 2011 at the Ausia Funeral Homes, 356 Horsley Drive, Fairfield. Viewing time is from 4:00PM to 9:00PM. I will provide a sympathy card for LJR and voluntary donations will be thankfully received and faithfully applied for the family of Bro Ed Siasat.

Rehearsal Meeting: Friday 30 April

Brethren,

Please be reminded of our [Rescheduled] Rehearsal Meeting on Friday, 30 April 2010 at 7:00 PM at Castle Hill Masonic Centre.

Lodge Burnside has requested LJR two months ago to use the hall on Saturday, 1 May 2010 [our calendared/normal rehearsal day] for the fraternal visit of Lodge Taralga.

We will rehearse the Ballot for Membership and the Degree Work of the First Degree.

On our May 8 meeting, we will initiate two candidates. Please mark this on your diary, as these are our first initiates in our Lodge.
